Forgotten Students

Forgotten Students was a campaign launched during lockdown, where students across the country came together to voice how Covid-19 was impacting their education. With university courses shifting online, many felt it was unjust to pay full tuition for a remote education while living in isolation. We didn’t think that was fair either.

I joined the campaign to assist with design, creating engaging social media posts that resonated with fellow students facing similar struggles. These posts garnered significant attention, even being shared by the singer Joy Crookes.

As the campaign gained momentum, we filmed a series of short documentary-style talking-head videos, using personal stories and quotes to highlight the mental health challenges students were facing. This eventually led to the creation of The Forgotten Students short film (linked above), where I had the opportunity to design key props that helped bring the project to life.
